game Indonesian in fourth and again in seventh to win vacant interim WBC
International title. Pagara hurts Decha in third but has to last out rocky tenth
to win on scores of 96-94, 96-93 and 97-93. Amonsot unimpressive in decisioning
Thai-based Congolese fighter on scores of 96-94, 97-93 and 98-92. Surprise as

tenth.

W PTS 10 Mike Recloux (13-9-2). Heavy: Rene Dettweiler (25-2) W
PTS 8 Gbenge Oloukun (17-2). Armenian Abraham too strong for
Taylor all the way. Ahead on all
cards going into the last he kayos
Taylor with big right to set the
standard for the “Super Six” tournament. Former world middleweight champion
Taylor, who was deducted a point for low blows in the sixth, has lost 4 of his
last 5. He was hospitalised with concussion after the bout, but later released.
Jermain needs to think about his future in boxing, not just in the tournament.
Cuban southpaw Hernandez beats good Serbian on scores of 118-110, 116-112 and
115-113 for IBF Intercontinental title. German Britsch wins almost every round

(11-5-1). Welter: Mihaita
Mutu (26-14-2) W KO 3 Young Mutley (26-4). In good, tight scrap Froch just does
enough to edge out previously unbeaten Dirrell on split decision to retain WBC
title and register win in “Super Six”. Slick boxing wuins early rounds for
Dirrell however he loses a point in tenth for holding but as Froch wins on
scores of 115-112 (twice) and 113-114, it would not have affected the result.
Amar halts game Glover in first fight since May 2008. Southpaw Portman survives
cut but has to settle for draw against journeyman Booth. Big upset as Romanian
Mutu kayos 33-year-old Mutley.

Bantam: Raul Martinez (25-1) W TKO 5 Jon Perez (15-7). Super bantam: Robert
Marroquin (10-0) W PTS 6 Jose Garcia Bernal (27-17-1). Super Feather: Jerry
Belmontes (10-0) W PTS 6 Aduato Gonzalez (10-7).
Oxnard's Rios cleans up record with
stoppage of Perez who held him to a draw in October 2008.
Santiago has to struggle for split
verdict over Kenyan and is nowhere near a return with Steve Luevano who he
fought a draw with for the WBO feather title last year. “Cobra”
Martinez, in action for the first
time since being crushed inside a round by Nonito Donaire in April, forces Perez
to stay in his corner at start of fifth. Twenty-year-old
Dallas southpaw Marroquin and
hometown boy Belmontes both win wide decisions and are good
prospects.

Castro edge out 32-year-old Barcenas on scores of 115-113 (twice) and 115-114,
but some felt veteran Barcenas was robbed. Former WBC champion Soto, now 38, on
little run as he scores fourth win in a row. Fly prospect Zaleta halts Armenta
and looks the goods.
