heavyweights.
This is not a
real boxing event but rather a boxing entertainment show. The fighters wear
headgear and essentially spar as they would in a workout. The fans, however,
loved it and clamored for more! All six fighters were just fabulous and each

shot. The fight started badly for Ramos, 24, and gave an indication of things to
come as he was floored in the first. He was badly hurt by a right that caught
him on the forehead. Ramos was suddenly on shaky legs and staggered back to the
ropes. Rigondeaux followed him to the ropes and threw a couple of punches which
fell short, but Ramos fell forward off the ropes to the canvas without another
punch landing. Ramos was up at five and got a reprieve as the referee stopped
the count as Rigondeaux had not gone to a neutral corner. Ramos held and managed
to survive. Rigondeaux then used his standard classic counter punching to
outscore the champion over the next four rounds. By the sixth Rigondeaux looked

At the conclusion of a private meeting held at the classic and antique Geneve Hotel in Mexico City, Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing and promoter Shiro Kameda of Kameda Promotions, are proud to announce that power-punching WBA Interim Bantamweight Champion Hugo "Cuatito" Ruiz (29-1, 26 KOs) will face all-action WBA Bantamweight World Champion Koki Kameda in an exciting title fight showdown later this year.

2011 was quiet
a year for the WBC and WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward. After
spending two years competing in the Showtime Super Six Tournament, Ward would
wrap up his flawless participation in the competition by outclassing the tough
and rugged ex champion Carl Froch in the finale this past December. With the win
Ward would be crowned the tournament champion, pick up the WBC title to go with
his WBA belt, and finish off with an impressive 5-0 record in the tournament to
improve his overall record 25-0. After completing an impressive 2011, Ward was
selected by many in the media as 2011 Fighter of the year and climbed on the top
ten of everyone’s Pound for Pound list.
Ward, who is known for being a well spoken and humble fighter
